Hiring and Leasing
At Tremorvah we cater to everyone's needs, so if you are
looking to hire or lease equipment we have a wide range to offer,
from Scooters and Power Chairs to Walking Frames and Commodes at
terms to suit you. You can hire from as little as a couple of days
for a special occasion, such as a wedding, up to several weeks.
Hiring first can also be a good way to make a decision when
considering purchasing equipment.
We hope that all our customers are responsible and careful
enough not to wilfully and purposefully damage the equipment and we
do understand that accidents occur.
Rental can be a more convenient and positive option of
increasing mobility with a range of benefits:
- Hire periods to suit the user
- Hire periods can simply be renewed over the phone
- No maintenance costs - we provide parts and labour in the hire
charge
- should the users' needs change we can simply change the
product
- Free anual servicing to ensure comfort and safety
- Friendly engineers

Hiring Scooters
We have a range of different Scooters to fit everyone's needs from
Small Boot Scooters to large Class 3 road Scooters. The Scooters
are given a full service before being hired to ensure a hassle free
experience. All Scooters are supplied with a full demonstration of
the controls and any safety aspects that you may need to be aware
of. A suitable Scooter will be supplied based on the information
given.
We offer 3 sizes if scooter: (size restrictions apply)
We will require the users height and weight and details of the
location of use to supply the most suitable model. Scooters
are provided with an instruction booklet and charger.
- Liteway 4 - collapsable and able to fit into
the boot of an average hatchback, suitable for lighter use this
model is not suitable for hils or rough terrain.
- Shoprider - our midrange model, more suitable
for pavemnets but not able to fit into a car.
- Meteor/329LE - our larger models, suitable for
hills and longer journeys but not able to fit into a car
 Hiring / leasing Manual Wheelchairs
When
hiring or leasing a manual wheelchair you will need to provide us
with your height and weight. This will enable us to supply you with
a suitable size wheelchair for your needs. We will also need
to know of any special requirements such as elevating leg rests,
head supports, stump boards and paediatric chairs.
We offer standard attendant propelled and self propelled models and
currently stock bariatric chairs up to 26 stone capacity. All
chairs come with a lapstrap and solid tyres and fold down to fit
into a car.
Manual Wheelchair with Power Pack
We are able to offer TGA power packs which fit onto our hire chairs
and aid pushing the chair up hills saving a lot of effort. The
Power Pack can be easily removed, so the manual wheelchair can be
folded and transported by car. A full demonstration will be
given.
Commodes
We offer basic stationary commodes. They come with a
disposable pan
Light Weight 3 Wheeled Walker
3 wheeled walkers are highly manoeuvrable and are good for indoor
and outdoor use. The handles are height adjustable to suit all
users and the walkers also come with loop brakes and a bag for
storage. The Walker is easily foldable and light weight for storage
and transportation.
Light weight 4 wheeled
Walker
4 wheeled walkers offer more stability than 3 wheeled walkers, but
are not as manoeuvrable. They can be used indoors and outdoors and
have height adjustable handles to suit most users. They come with
loop brakes and have a seat with storage space underneath. They can
be easily folded for storage and transporting in a car.
Electric Rise Recliner
An electric Rise Recliner chair is for people who need to elevate
their legs and require help with getting into and out of chairs due
to restricted mobility.
When hiring a Rise Recliner Chair you will need to provide us with
your height and weight to enable us to supply a chair suitable for
you.
Mobile Hoists/Standaids
Hoists should only be operated by trained carers and staff. Sling
choice should be by assessment by an Occupational Therapist or
other trained professional carer / Nurse. We are able to
provide slings or the client is able to use their own providing it
is compatible. We will require the users height and weight
prior to collection/delivery
