Royal Cornwall Show Hires

A special scooter and manual wheelchair hire service is available for the Royal Cornwall show every June.  Early booking is essential as it a very popular event; often completely booked by April.  The scooter or wheelchair can be delivered to whichever entrance to the show ground you are arriving at or collected from our stand not far from the main gate.

The charges are as follows:

Scooters:

£25 for the whole day; 0830 to 1700

£17.50 for a half day; 0830 to 1300 or 1330 to 1700

Manual wheelchairs:

£15 for the whole day; 0830 to 1700

£7.50 for a half day; 0830 to 1300 or 1330 to 1700

All our scooters are fully booked for 2012 but we still have some manual wheelchairs available.

Conditions of Hire

1. All equipment on hire remains the property of Tremorvah Industries.
2. Settlement terms are in advance of the hire agreement as one single hire payment.
3. A cheque/debit payment to cover the rental is required to secure the booking. If cancellation of hire is given at least 2 weeks prior to commencement of hire then the payment will be refunded. If notice of cancellation of hire is less than 2 weeks then Tremorvah reserve the right to retain the payment. However should Tremorvah be able to re-hire the equipment for the cancelled hire period, then Tremorvah may at its discretion refund part or all of the payment.  
4. Late return of a scoota/ power chair/ manual wheel chair will incur the additional fee of the cost of the hire for the subsequent part day; or full day if the evening deadline is extended, at the discretion of Tremorvah.
5. Tremorvah reserve the right to remove any hire equipment belonging to Tremorvah from the hirer’s premises without prior notice in the event of a breech of any of these conditions.
6. Tremorvah provide third party liability insurance on powered wheelchairs and scooters.
7. Hire equipment must not be taken abroad without the permission of Tremorvah Industries. Where consent is given by Tremorvah then it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure adequate insurance is taken out to cover loss or damage of the hire equipment and any third party liability.
