Who would need a Rise Recliner Chair?

Rise Recliner chairs are purchased for people with special needs, such as those who suffer from rheumatism, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, general weakness of the back and limbs, leg complaints or those who have difficulty rising from a normal armchair.

The Difference between a Dual Motor and Single Motor Chair

All of our electric chairs can tilt the user to a standing position. The difference between Single and Dual Motor chairs is to do with the amount of control the user has over the recline positions of the chair.

The difference between the two is simple. When you press the lower button on the two-button hand control, the Single Motor chair will follow a set sequence (see the diagrams below) as it moves towards its full recline position. The upwards movement of the footrest and the recline of the chair back are controlled by one button only, although you may pause the movement at any desired position. A dual motor chair allows independent control of the footrest and the chair back, with a separate button to control each one, thus allowing a greater diversity of seating positions.

There are many different variations of Rise Recliner Chairs on the market and it can be difficult to know which one will suit your needs. The pictures below show two different back options; waterfall and button back. Once you have made your choice of chair there are many different fabrics to choose from. There are also various options available such as battery back up, arm covers, pressure foam, fixed locking castors and anti-entrapment.

Tremorvah offers a wide range of styles and all chairs are available in a choice of wood finishes and fabrics including soft covers, vinyl's and specialist waterproof, breathable materials.

Many of our high seat chairs are available in different seat height, width and depth options to suit.

Pressure distributing visco elastic foam may be fitted in the seats of most models and on some chairs we can provide an upholstered board seat onto which specialist pressure products may be placed.
